An inattentive driver caused a two-vehicle crash on state Highway 14 on Monday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.

Jason Hanlon, 38, of Camas, was driving a 2008 Lincoln Navigator west on the highway and slowed just east of Southeast 192nd Avenue for a disabled truck and fire truck stopped on the shoulder.

Chelsae Leasure, 24, of Vancouver was driving a 1988 Nissan Maxima behind the Navigator, did not slow and crashed into the back of the vehicle.

The Maxima was reportedly totaled and Leasure was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for precautionary reasons and later released.

Leasure was cited for driving too fast for the conditions.
