DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Miami Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace has returned to practice after being sidelined more than a week by a groin injury, and says he expects to play in Friday’s exhibition game at Jacksonville.

Wallace caught a long touchdown pass Wednesday from Ryan Tannehill, their first such connection in training camp. Miami wideouts caught only three TD passes last year.

Wallace missed the exhibition opener Sunday against Dallas. He became the Dolphins’ highest-paid player when he signed $60 million, five-year contract in March after four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
