Fruit Valley — The Port of Vancouver was recently awarded $350,000 to build a bicycle and pedestrian path along Lower River Road leading to its administrative building. The grant money came from the Federal Highway Administration's Transportation Alternatives Program, known as TAP. Next year, the port plans to begin building the path, which would stretch from the intersection of Mill Plain and Fourth Plain boulevards to the port offices.
