TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Rich Rodriguez gave Arizona’s football program a boost with his up-tempo offense and a winning season his first year in the desert.
The addition of the Lowell-Stevens Football Facility could take the Wildcats to another level.
The $72 million expansion at the north end of Arizona Stadium features ventilated seats in the locker room, underwater treadmills in the training room and a massive state-of-the-art weight room.
The facilities will put Arizona on par with some of the top programs in the country.
It also should provide a lift in recruiting, allowing Rodriguez and his staff to tout the program’s facilities instead of trying to hide its flaws.
