ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING YACOLT WA.

On August 11th at 10:15 911 received a call of about a victim with an accidental gunshot wound. The caller stated that she and her boyfriend had been at the Yacolt Falls. She stated that her boyfriend slipped and accidentally shot himself. Sheriff’s deputies along with members of North Country EMS responded to the scene and found a male in his 20s deceased.
The recovery of the victim is challenging because of the terrain. Members of the Volcano Rescue Team were brought in to assist in what is a very technical rescue.
No names are being released at this time.
