Letter: Area doesn’t need oil terminal

I’d drink the first quart of oil that ever saw a U.S. refinery from the proposed Port of Vancouver oil terminal.

How naive do you think we the citizens are? The Port of Vancouver Board of Commissioners have been suckered in by the smell of the almighty dollar.

It isn’t enough that we live next to the now-polluted Columbia River. Our port leaders and others seem to want to pollute the city of Vancouver, too. Hopefully, by some miracle, their votes will be overturned.
