TACOMA — Gun enthusiasts are asking the Pierce County Council on Tuesday to protect gun ranges from potential lawsuits about noise.
The News Tribune reports council members are expected to adopt a measure that says shooting ranges would not be subject to civil and criminal complaints from neighbors.
The measure would protect five gun ranges in unincorporated areas. It says they would be subject to the noise and nuisance regulations in place at the time they opened.
