Portland police are investigating a stabbing that was reported on a Max train at the Oregon Zoo station Monday night.

The Portland Police Bureau has released little details of the call, but say that they responded to the area just after 11 p.m. and located a victim who was stabbed. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

A suspect was taken into custody and detectives are in the beginning stages of investigation, according to Portland police.

Police say they don’t yet know if the two people know each other or not, but said that they plan to release more details later this morning.
