Police are asking the public to help identify a man who robbed a convenience store last week in Clark County’s Sunnyside neighborhood.

The man walked into the Minit Mart at 9511 N.E. 76th St. just after 5 a.m. Aug. 9 and allegedly pointed a handgun at the clerk, leaving the store with money from the cash register. After the robbery, police searched the area with a K-9 unit, but they did not locate the robber.

He’s described as a white male, between age 17 to 25, about 5 foot 10 inches to 6 foot 1 inches tall and around 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt, black athletic shorts and white-and-black-striped Adidas shoes.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the photographed man is asked to call the Clark County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 877-274-6311, email Detective Scott Gilberti at Scott.Gilberti@clark.wa.gov or submit a tip (which can be anonymous) online.
