The Vancouver-based Pink Lemonade Project is partnering with Susan G. Komen’s Oregon and Southwest Washington affiliate to raise money to provide retreats for metastatic breast cancer survivors.

The nonprofit Pink Lemonade Project offers professionally led restorative retreats for survivors and their partners to relax, rejuvenate and restore their lives in meaningful and healthy ways.

Over time, Pink Lemonade Project has seen an increasing need for different types of retreat support, specifically, metastatic breast cancer retreats.

The two nonprofits will kickoff their partnership with their first retreat for metastatic breast cancer survivors Oct. 5-6. Registration is now open and scholarships are available. At the minimum, participants pay $25.

For more information on the retreat and the new partnership, visit the Pink Lemonade Project website, www.pinklemonadeproject.org, or contact Leslie Fassilis at leslie@pinklemonadeproject.org or 360-216-7333 ext. 1.
