Letter: Let experts weigh in

The Columbian
Published: August 25, 2013, 5:00pm

The Columbian reported that the Clark County auditor is soliciting opposing statements to the advisory measure to appear on the November ballot regarding the east county toll-free bridge. (“Hate east-side bridge idea? Contact auditor about voters’ guide,” Aug. 22) Seriously? What I wish to read are the traffic engineers’ and planners’ analysis of the long-range impact of such a choice. I do not care what someone as uneducated on these complicated matters as me has to say. And neither should our county commissioners.
