A Vancouver woman was critically injured Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash east of Woodland.

Semara M. Williams, 24, was driving a 1999 Buick Century north on state Highway 503 when she failed to negotiate a left turn, leaving the road and striking a utility pole, according to Washington State Patrol. The crash was reported less than a half-mile east of Woodland just before 4:30 p.m.

Williams was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and listed in critical condition.

She was cited for driving with her wheels off the roadway.
