Good Samaritans took five minutes out of their day — and their commute — to help a flock of ducks cross the street Wednesday evening.

During the 5 p.m. rush hour, three people helped stop traffic and ushered the ducks across Northeast Andresen Road, just north of Northeast Padden Parkway, said Beth Evanson. The ducks presumably came from a wetland area on the west side of the street near Costco.
