WSU Vancouver hosts diversity event Sept. 3

Washington State University Vancouver will celebrate diversity with the event “Connections” at 4 p.m. Sept. 3 in the Firstenburg Student Commons.

The free, public event hosted by the Office of Student Diversity features multicultural food, music and artwork. Guests can learn about diversity-related student organizations on campus and nonprofit organizations in the community.

Connections will be the debut for a traveling photo-text exhibit, “In Our Family,” focusing on 20 diverse families. The exhibit will be on display in the Dengerink Administration building gallery through Oct. 4. Admission is free.

WSUV is at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave. Parking is available at meters and in the blue daily pay lot for $3.
