ELON, N.C. (AP) — Lucas Troutman scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lift Elon to a 68-65 overtime win over Columbia on Sunday.

Elon (4-4) went 7 of 8 from the foul line in overtime after a Columbia rally that tied the game at 57 at the end of regulation. Austin Hamilton scored 17 points, while Kevin Blake added 12, including the two OT free throws that gave Elon the lead it would hold.

Columbia (4-4) was held scoreless for nearly nine minutes in the first half as Elon went on a 17-2 run, but battled back and trailed just 29-24 at the break. Columbia never led but kept the score close in the second half, tying it at the buzzer on a 3-pointer by Alex Rosenberg, who led the Lions with 19 points.

All four meetings between the teams have been decided by five points or less.
