Boys basketball: Castle Rock 57, Seton Catholic 40

The Rockets hit nine three-pointers to pull away in a Trico League opener for both teams.

Brock Johnson had 18 points and Mason Klingberg added 15 for Castle Rock.

“They just bombarded us with threes and we couldn’t catch up,” Seton coach Kevin Holboke said. “They just shot ball really well, and we were in their face too.”

Justin James scored 16 points to keep Seton Catholic in the game.
