Girls basketball: Hockinson 64, Centralia 59

Katelyn McGuire had 19 points and hit four free throws down the stretch to help the Hawks to the road victory.

Hockinson (2-0) won by outscoring Centralia 16-10 in the final quarter.

McGuire had a team-high 11 rebounds and eight steals. Point guard Hannah Niebauer had 11 points and seven assists.

Keely Nordberg gave the Hawks a boost off the bench, hitting two timely 3-pointers and scoring all 10 of her points in the third quarter.
