WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Yolonzo Moore II scored 21 points — all in the second half — and Mark Nwakamma added 19 as Hartford consistently built upon an early lead to beat Holy Cross 90-78 on Saturday night.

Moore shot 60 percent from the field (6 of 10) and hit 8 of 10 from the line in the second half. Nwakamma and Moore led four other Hawks (3-7) in double figures — Nate Sikma (15), Evan Cooper (14), Corban Wroe (11) and Wes Cole (10).

Hartford ended the first half with a six-point lead and gradually built on it during the final 20 minutes. Holy Cross (5-4) cut a 12-point deficit back to six with 11:13 left to play, but could not catch the Hawks.

Malcom Miller scored 18 for the Crusaders, and Dave Dudzinski added 12 as the team shot 61.7 percent (29 of 47) from the floor.
