Clark County’s Community Development Department will consider public comments as it reviews an automated car wash proposed off Northeast Highway 99 in Hazel Dell.

Planned for an approximately 1.5-acre parcel on the east side of Highway 99 at 94th Street, it would be built in two phases. The first will include a 3,200-square-foot car wash building; the second will include a 2,185-square-foot space to accommodate five manual car-wash bays. Mark Wickert of West Linn, Ore., submitted the application.

Public comments received by Dec. 21 will be considered in the review process. Comments can be submitted in person to the Community Development Department at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver, WA 98660; mailed to: Michael Uduk, Department of Community Development, P.O. Box 9810, Vancouver, or emailed to michael.uduk@clark.wa.gov.
