YMCA's Sexual Assault Program is looking for advocates to provide telephone and in-person support to victims/survivors and their families. Initial responsibilities include answering the crisis line and accompanying victims at the hospital during their medical exams.
YWCA Clark County is looking for volunteers to set up its Holiday Shop where participants may select gifts for their families. Help move tables, decorate and sort donated gifts, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 17, and 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 18; and wrap gifts, 8:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19. Volunteers must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 pounds.
