The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is offering two holiday promotions through December.

Those who adopt pets in December are eligible to spin a wheel and win a prize: half-off adoption fees, food, pet supplies and more.

The second promotion is a 75 percent discount on adoption fees for cats six months and older.

Regular adoption prices begin at $25 for a senior cat to $80 for a kitten and $50 to $75 for a senior dog to $150 to $300 for a puppy. Some pets are subject to premium pet pricing depending on their age, breed and demand for their adoptability.

All pet adoptions include spay or neuter surgery, microchip identification, vaccinations and free vet exam. All adopters must have a pet collar and carrier at the time of adoption.

The Humane Society, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., is open noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. For details, call 360-693-4746 or visit www.southwesthumane.org/.
