MEDFORD, Ore. — The man accused of bombing a district attorney’s office in Oregon has pleaded not guilty in federal court.

The Mail Tribune reports the trial for 46-year-old Alan Leroy McVay of White City is scheduled for Feb. 11. He entered his plea Wednesday.

He’s charged with damaging the building in Medford with an explosion Nov. 13. Prosecutors say he hoped to avoid sentencing the next day on a burglary charge.

Investigators say he taped a pipe bomb to a propane tank and threw it at the office window. It broke the window but did little other damage because the tank did not explode.
