ATHENS, Ohio (AP) — Maurice Ndour scored 12 points and blocked four shots to pace Ohio over Alabama A&M 72-47 on Saturday.

Ndour was joined in double figures for Ohio (7-2) by T.J. Hall and Javarez Willis with 12 points apiece.

Alabama A&M (3-5) was led by Demarquelle Tabb and Jeremy Crutcher, both with 11 points. A&M shot just 27.8 percent from the floor.

Ohio held a 16-14 lead at 8:32 of the first half when the Bobcats went on a 14-0 run, highlighted by a pair of dunks on consecutive possessions by Jon Smith and Hall — the second of which came as a result of an Ndour block. Ohio held a 15-point lead, 37-22, at the intermission.

The Bobcats stretched that lead to 21 at 13:58 of the second half on a Ricardo Johnson 3-pointer, and Alabama A&M couldn’t put a run together to pull any closer.
