Boys basketball: La Center 68, Woodland 58

The Wildcats used a big fourth-quarter advantage to pull away from Woodland and give the Beavers their first loss in the Trico League matchup.

La Center (4-1) outscored Woodland 25-15 in the final frame.

Connor Wonderly had 19 points and five assists for the Wildcats, Wyatt Aguirre had 16 points, and Will Rice had 14 points and eight rebounds.

Woodland was led in scoring by Kyle Hendrix’s 17 points. Tanner Huddleston had 11.
