CLINTON, S.C. (AP) — Terence Smith scored 19 points and hit a late 3-pointer and two free throws to propel Tennessee-Martin past Presbyterian 73-70 Monday night.

After two exchanged buckets, Smith drained a dagger beyond the arc with 21 seconds left.

Austin Anderson sank two free throws to pull Presbyterian (3-9) back within one, but Smith countered with a pair of his own. Jordan Downing couldn’t connect on a 3-pointer as time expired.
