Driver taken to hospital after early morning crash

Dodge Stratus hits barrier on Highway 14

A 29-year-old Vancouver man was transported to the hospital early this morning following a one-car accident on state Highway 14, west of Camas.

According to the Washington State Patrol report, Jonathan M. Chambers was driving east on state Highway 14 at about 3:35 a.m. when his 1999 Dodge Stratus hit the jersey barrier. The accident at Milepost 10 near the Southeast 192nd Avenue exit blocked traffic in the left lane.

Chambers was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center; there was no information about his injuries. The Dodge Stratus was totaled. The accident is under investigation.
