LAS VEGAS (AP) — Bryce Pressley scored a career-high 25 points and Kevin Bailey added 21 as Portland knocked off Princeton, 93-79 in the finale of the Holiday Hoops Classic Saturday night.

The Pilots (8-4) took a 41-36 lead after the first half and extended it through the second to cap a two-game sweep in Las Vegas after knocking off Bradley Friday night.

Despite suffering its second loss in 11 games, Princeton is off to its best start since the 1997-98 season and would have matched that team’s 10-1 start with a win. The Tigers now are 5-4 all-time against teams from the West Coast Conference after knocking off Pacific Friday.

Pressley is the son of former NBA Harold Pressley, who helped Villanova win the NCAA title in 1986. His previous career high was 10 points. Bailey surpassed 20 points for the fifth time this season.

T.J. Bray led Princeton with 25 points.
