CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson reserve guard Devin Coleman is leaving the basketball team and will transfer.

Coach Brad Brownell announced the decision Saturday. Coleman is the third of five players of Brownell’s first true recruiting class to leave since signing before the 2011-12 season.

Bernard Sullivan transferred to Charlotte and T.J. Sapp left for Murray State. The other two players of that class are K.J. McDaniels and Rod Hall, the Tigers’ top two scorers this season.

Coleman is a 6-foot-3 guard from Wynnewood, Pa. He played in 22 games as a freshman in 2011-12, but missed the next season because of an Achilles tendon tear during a workout the following summer.

Coleman played in 10 games and made one start this season for the Tigers (8-3), averaging 5.4 points a game.
