The Falcons overcame 12 turnovers in the first quarter to hold off Ballard in the semifinal of the “Surf” Division at the San Diego Surf ‘N Slam Tournament.
Nicole Goecke scored 16 points and Cherita Daugherty had 13 for Prairie.
The Falcons will face either Newport of Bellevue or Justin-Siena of Napa, Calif., at 5:45 p.m. Monday for the championship of the eight-team bracket that featured three Washington teams.
