MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas is active for their game Sunday against the New York Jets despite a nagging left ankle injury.

Thomas had been listed as questionable and was limited in practice Friday.

Nate Garner will replace Sam Brenner as the starter at left guard for Miami.

Among those active for the Jets are receivers Santonio Holmes (foot, hamstring) and Jeremy Kerley (elbow), cornerback Antonio Cromartie (hip), linebackers Quinton Coples (shoulder) and Demario Davis (thumb), tackle Austin Howard (knee), safeties Ed Reed (not injury related) and Dawan Landry (hand), center Nick Mangold (toe), and defensive linemen Sheldon Richardson (finger, shoulder) and Muhammad Wilkerson (wrist). All had been listed as probable.
