Girls basketball: St. Mary’s 56, Skyview 54

St. Mary’s went coast-to-coast for the go-ahead basket with four seconds to play and beat Skyview in the semifinal of the Nike Interstate Shootout at Lake Oswego.

Skyview had missed two free throws with 12 seconds remaining, and then was unable to get a final shot off after St. Mary’s took the lead.

Jocelyn Adams scored 17 points for the Storm and Aubrey Ward-El had 16.

Skyview will face South Salem for third place at 5 p.m. Monday.

This was the second time in two weeks Skyview had played St. Mary’s. The Storm prevailed 48-44 back on Dec. 16.
