Jenkins out, Porter active for Raiders vs. Broncos

The Columbian
Published:

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Oakland Raiders cornerback Mike Jenkins is out with a hamstring injury in the regular-season finale against the Denver Broncos.

Fellow cornerback Tracy Porter was active for Sunday’s game. Porter had been listed as questionable with a hip injury, leaving Oakland with the possibility of facing Peyton Manning and the high-scoring Broncos without both of its starting cornerbacks.

Chimdi Chekwa was starting in Jenkins’ place.

Oakland’s other inactives were: wide receivers Jacoby Ford and Brice Butler, guards Lamar Mady and Andre Gurode, offensive tackle Menelik Watson and defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin.

Denver’s inactives were cornerback Kayvon Webster, wide receiver Wes Welker, defensive end Derek Wolfe, defensive tackle Sione Fua, center Steve Vallos, running back C.J. Anderson and backup quarterback Zac Dysert.
