Letter: Unions are too demanding

As the Boeing Machinists controversy continues, maybe I can give a little insight on this issue.

Who came first? It was the risk taker who started Boeing and also the stock holders who invested in the company. Then came the workers. What risk did the workers take? Get the point unions?

But now through the corrupt unions’ so-called leadership, its members have been given rose-colored glasses as to who came first. Now, not only does the union want yearly wage increases, they also want to be included in Boeing’s profits. The hypocritical part of this issue is that the union members certainly would not take a pay cut if Boeing loses money. So, go ahead and vote “no” on a new contract.

Keep it up unions, and Boeing will be history in Washington state.
