A Ridgefield woman appeared Monday in Clark County Superior Court on suspicion of threatening her boyfriend with a gun after he tried to stop her from driving while intoxicated.

Erin T. Quintasket, 35, faces charges at a Jan. 10 arraignment of first-degree assault domestic violence and unlawful possession of a firearm by an ex-convict. Judge Barbara Johnson held her on $50,000 bail. Quintasket indicated she plans to hire her own attorney.

Following an argument with her boyfriend early Sunday, Quintasket, who was intoxicated, told him she was going to drive to the store for cigarettes, according to a court affidavit.

Her boyfriend, Anthony Frazier, didn’t want her to drive because she was intoxicated and threatened to call 911 if she did, the affidavit says.

Quintasket walked away and took a 9 mm Taurus pistol out of a closet in a master bedroom, the affidavit says. She then pointed the gun at Frazier and said, “Get the (expletive) out of my house,” court documents say.

Frazier took the gun away from her. Then, Quintasket woke up the couple’s 3-year-old daughter and tried to leave the residence in the 4500 block of Northeast 199th Street, court documents say. Frazier grabbed the 3-year-old away from Quintasket, court documents say. Quintasket then left the house through the back door and drove away in Frazier’s black SUV.

A Clark County sheriff’s deputy pulled her over around 2:28 a.m. in the 6900 block of Northeast 199th Street. She was arrested on suspicion of assaulting her boyfriend and booked into Clark County Jail. The possible charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by an ex-convict stems from Quintasket’s conviction in 1993 of forgery when she was a juvenile, said Deputy Prosecutor Jennifer Nugent.

Court documents indicate Quintasket lived at the residence with Frazier and their two children.
