Boys basketball: Heritage 66, Camas 59

Tim Hergert scored 41 points and the host Timberwolves picked up their first league win of the season in the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League.

Hergert played point guard for the first time this season. He was 12 for 29 from the floor, including 4 for 14 on 3-pointers. He hit 13 of 20 free throws.

Camas led 10-8 at the end of one quarter, but the Timberwolves (6-13, 1-8) led by seven at halftime and stretched their lead to as many as 17 points in the fourth quarter.

Trevor Jasinsky scored 14 points and Kyle Robb 12 for Camas (4-15, 2-7).
