PARK CITY, Utah (AP) — Maddie Bowman followed up her gold at the X Games with another at Saturday’s U.S. Grand Prix in ski halfpipe.
Bowman was the only woman competing with two 900s and landed both on her second run to win with a score of 85.2.
Japan’s Ayana Onozuka was second with a score of 84.4 and Virginie Faivre of Switzerland took third at 82.8.
X Games champ David Wise and fellow American Torin Yater-Wallace finished 1-2 in the men’s World Cup event, which was marred by a scary crash that sent Canadian skier Simon d’Artoise to the hospital with a concussion.
