FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) — Christian Standhardinger scored 18 points, Vander Joaquim added 15 , and Hawaii erased a double-digit, second-half deficit to post a 77-75 victory against Cal State Fullerton on Saturday night.

Hauns Brereton scored 13 points for the Rainbow Warriors (13-9, 7-4 Big West) and hit a 3-pointer with 3:38 remaining that put them ahead for good, 65-64. Each time the Titans (11-11, 4-6) threatened to take back the lead down the stretch, Hawaii had an answer.

Kwame Vaughn scored 19 points, D.J. Seeley 18 and Sammy Yeager 17 for Cal State Fullerton, which led 55-45 with 13:53 left. The Warriors, ending a four-game road swing on the mainland, were sparked by Joaquim during their comeback, as his six straight points cut the deficit to 62-60 with 5:36 remaining.

The Titans have lost five of their last six games.
