Taku leads Pacific to 77-64 win over UC Davis

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Sama Taku scored 15 points and Lorenzo McCloud and Colin Beatty added 12 each to lead Pacific to a 77-64 victory against UC Davis on Saturday night.

Ross Rivera had 11 points off the bench for the Tigers (12-8, 6-2 Big West).

Josh Ritchart had 22 points and made five 3-pointers for the Aggies (8-11, 4-4). Ryan Sypkens added 14 points and made four shots from behind the arc.

The game was tied early in the second half when Taku and Kahlil Kelley had two field goals each to spark a Pacific push, making the score 50-42 with 15:24 remaining. The Tigers maintained that cushion for the rest of the way, as UC Davis got no closer than five.

Pacific shot 48.2 percent (27 of 56) from the floor and turned 18 UC Davis turnovers into 21 points.
