No. 22 Colorado women defeat USC 65-49

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Arielle Roberson scored 16 points and Chucky Jeffery had 15 points and 10 rebounds on Sunday as No. 22 Colorado defeated Southern California 65-49.

The Buffaloes (16-5, 5-5 Pac-12) trailed 31-26 at halftime, but scored the first eight points of the second half to take the lead for good.

Brittany Wilson added 12 points and Lexy Kresl scored 11 for Colorado. The Buffaloes, bouncing back from a loss Friday at No. 19 UCLA, controlled the boards with a 44-29 rebounding edge and held the Trojans to 28 percent shooting.

USC (8-13, 5-5) was led by Cassie Harberts with 14 points. Ariya Crook scored 10 points.

The Trojans have lost five of their last six in the Pac-12, and are 5-8 at home this season.
