BALTIMORE (AP) — Fans wearing purple and black are crowding the parade route in Baltimore as the city prepares to welcome the Super Bowl champion Ravens.

Parade vehicles, including flatbed trucks, a trolley and a float designed to look like a miniature football field, were lined up outside City Hall on Tuesday. One street vendor was selling purple pennants that said “Champions.” And at M&T Bank Stadium, Coach John Harbaugh appeared on stage to briefly fire up the crowd before heading over to City Hall.

The start of the celebration was briefly delayed as the team made its way to City Hall.

The parade will go past the Inner Harbor and end at the stadium.

There’s been traffic congestion downtown as thousands of fans poured into the city. Officials expect about 100,000 people.
