Police looking for strong-arm robbery suspect

Vancouver police searched the downtown area Tuesday night after reports of a strong-arm robbery.
Officers were dispatched to West Seventh and Washington streets at 7:18 p.m. An AMR ambulance was also dispatched for the assault victim, a Vancouver man about 22 years old.
The male suspect, who was wearing a red sweatshirt and camo pants, fled west on Sixth Street. He had not been apprehended as of The Columbian’s press time.
The victim had minor facial injuries, police said. No weapon was used; property was taken by bodily force, police said. Police did not indicate what was taken.
