WADA reinstates Madrid doping lab
Friday, February 8, 2013
MONTREAL (AP) -- The World Anti-Doping Agency has reinstated its accredited lab in Madrid less than two months after it was suspended because of the improper handling of urine samples.
WADA says the three-month suspension has been lifted ahead of time after the lab had "successfully complied with the requirements for early reinstatement."
WADA suspended the lab's activities on Dec. 21 after two urine samples from different athletes were accidentally mixed.
