Jackson, Pepperdine edge Portland in OT 72-68

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Lorne Jackson scored 7 of his 22 points in overtime, leading Pepperdine to a 72-68 victory over Portland on Saturday.

Five of those overtime points came from the free-throw line.

Pepperdine (11-13, 3-8 West Coast) also got 12 points each from Jordan Baker and Nikolas Skouen and 11 points from Stacy Davis. Baker and Skouen each hit three 3-pointers.

Derrick Rodgers led Portland (9-17, 2-9) with 17, points, including 7 in overtime.

Thomas Van Der Mars and Kevin Bailey scored 12 points each, Ryan Nicholas had 11 and Bryce Pressley had 10.

Portland had a big 52-37 rebounding advantage, with Van Der Mars and Nicholas each getting 13.
