HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) — Elena Delle Donne poured in 20 points to become the Colonial Athletic Association’s all-time leading scorer and added 10 rebounds to help No. 20 Delaware hold off James Madison 71-64 Sunday for its 15th straight win.

The Blue Hens (20-3, 11-0) snapped the Dukes’ eight-game winning streak.

Delle Donne needed 11 points to break the record of 2,667 held by Dawn Evans of James Madison (2007-11). Shooting 6 of 12, the 6-foot-5 senior also tied Gabriela Marginean of Drexel (2006-10) for most career field goals with 904. Delle Donne needs three more free throws to beat Marginean’s record of 684.

James Madison (15-8, 9-2) got within two points on seven occasions in the second half, but the Blue Hens always had an answer.

Lauren Carra added 19 points for Delaware, which has won 30 straight regular-season CAA games.

Kirby Burkholder led the Dukes with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
