Katelyn McGuire had 22 points and 11 rebounds as Hockinson picked up its first district tournament win in three years to keep its season alive.

Hockinson will face River Ridge on Saturday at Mark Morris in another loser-out game.

Hockinson took a 13-5 lead after the first quarter, then maintained that lead throughout.

“We had a lot of assists and limited our turnovers,” Hockinson coach Chad Hamberg said. “It was good team effort all-around.”
