Letter: Park Service does fantastic job

The Columbian editorial and reporting on the closing of the Pearson Air Museum has been very disappointing. The National Park Service has done a fantastic job developing the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and preserving the cultural resources of the area. All accounts suggest that far from closing the museum, the Park Service wanted it to continue; it is the Fort Vancouver National Trust that has taken the radical step of clearing it out.

There is more to this story that we are not being told. Our local newspaper should do a better job than simply echoing the loudest voices in this affair.
