Letter: Work together as a whole nation

The Columbian
Published: February 11, 2013, 4:00pm

A Super Bowl commercial by Jeep, “We are a nation that is whole again,” hit home. Congress is not supposed to be fighting; that is what children do. Congress is supposed to be working together to get things done with our current president for our nation, not for their political parties, not for the lobbyists, not for their political careers, but, for us, the citizens of the this nation.

We are all very tired of the squabbling over little, petty things, so grow up, Congress, and do your job. You are an embarrassment to the nation that gave you a job.
