School levies pass in Vancouver, Camas, Ridgefield; levy fails in B.G.

Here are the initial results from today’s schools elections in Clark County. Additional ballots are expected to be counted all week long:

Vancouver schools maintenance and operations levy: Yes: 15,153, 64.85 percent. No: 8,212, 35.15 percent.

Vancouver schools technology levy: Yes: 14,328, 61.58 percent. No: 8,939, 38.42 percent.

Battle Ground maintenance and operations levy: Yes: 6,078, 44.84 percent. No: 7,476, 55.16 percent.

Camas schools maintenance and operations levy: Yes: 3,535, 59.41 percent. No: 2,415, 40.59 percent.

Camas schools technology levy: Yes: 3,658, 61.48 percent. No: 2,292, 38.52 percent.

La Center schools maintenance and operations levy: Yes: 1,042, 56.66 percent No: 797, 43.34 percent.

La Center schools sports facilities: Yes: 876, 47.79 percent. No: 957, 52.21 percent.

Ridgefield schools maintenance and operations levy: Yes: 1,971, 57.90 percent. No: 1,433, 42.10 percent.

All require a simple majority (50 percent plus 1) to pass.
