NEW YORK (AP) — Royal Lahaina romped to a 6 1/2-length victory over even-money favorite Centrique in the $69,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
It was the second straight win at Aqueduct, and fourth in 18 career starts, for the 5-year-old trained by Rudy Rodriguez. Cornelio Velasquez was aboard as she ran a mile in 1:37 and paid $18.20, $6.50 and $3.60.
Centrique returned $3.10 and $2.40, and Hard Life paid $2.80 to show.
