Former Clark County commissioner Marc Boldt has joined the board of directors of the Arc of Southwest Washington, the organization announced Saturday.

“Marc has long been an advocate for the developmentally disabled,” said Mike Dalesandro, board president. “His advocacy, knowledge of the issues, and tireless commitment toward serving our community will be an asset to our board and this organization.”

Boldt, who lost a re-election bid last year, has been involved in the Clark County Fair and Clark County Farm Bureau. He said late last year that he remains interested in social services.

The Arc of Southwest Washington serves people with developmental disabilities of all kinds with education, support services and advocacy.
